Janitors to Picket against SDQ Janitorial

HealthPartners clinics recently awarded their cleaning contract to a new janitorial company, SDQ Janitorial. SDQ Janitorial pays dollars below area standards and doesn't offer good affordable healthcare. Janitors in the Twin Cities just fought for and won new standards for the janitorial industry: decent wages and affordable healthcare, and will now fight just as hard to defend them.

SEIU Local 26 is committed to transforming the property services industry, not just for janitors at SDQ. Window cleaners in SEIU Local 26 also just won a new contract after several days of picketing and an act of civil disobedience at Gaviidae Commons.
